On March, 17, Corum held a news conference at Baselworld 2010. With the song, “Happy Birthday” by the Beatles playing in the background, the conference began.
2010 is scheduled to be a special year for Corum as the company celebrates the anniversaries of two of its main pillars: Admiral’s Cup and Corum Bridges.
Corum CEO Antonio Calce (pictured above) announced that the company has an aggressive plan for 2010 with 36 new models planned.
These exceptional new pieces will surely entrench Corum as a leading brand of Haute Horlogerie.
There are four watch models in the 2010 timepiece collection that deserve special attention.
- The Golden Bridge Tourbillon features the smallest tourbillon cage escapement in silicium.
- The Ti-Bridge Tourbillon with a flying tourbillon anchored on a ARCAP bridge (a material used in aeronautics).
- The Admiral’s Cup Minute Repeater Tourbillon with complications dressed in a sporty case
- The Admiral’s Cup Deep Hull 48, waterproof to 1000 meters with a unidirectional rotating bezel and a helium decompression valve.
